What is The Self Unlocked?
Know who you are. Grow into who you can be
Most people don’t really know themselves. Even fewer grow into who they can be. This is your chance to do both.
Explore with me a grounded, integrated path that blends mind and body to help you develop the psychological skills to thrive and grow into the life you want.
You’ll learn how to:
Reclaim: Build safety and self-trust. Let go of the patterns holding you back.
Express: Connect deeply with yourself and others. Find your voice.
Act: Develop confidence, own your courage and create the life you want.
Discover: Know what matters to you; your needs and values.
Transform: Clarify your vision. Become fully, unapologetically yourself.
Why I created this
Because I’ve been there, stuck, unsure, and afraid to make the changes I knew I needed. No map. No guidance.
Here, I offer the practical tools I wish I’d had. Grounded, insightful, and supportive. A path to develop self-belief, build confidence and express yourself with a voice that’s unmistakably your own.
Who I am
Hi, I’m Jon, a confidence and clarity coach, qualified breathwork facilitator and lifelong explorer of the inner world.
I studied psychology from a young age and spent four years training as a psychotherapist. During the training, I found myself drawn more to body-based work. Somatics, breathwork, and the fascinating ways our nervous system shapes how we live.
These are the areas I love to explore and share.
I’m based in the UK (yes, I spell it “colour”) and married to Kelly, my wonderful wife from Minnesota. Our cultural mix gives us daily lessons, laughs, and mispronounced words.
What to expect
There’s so much information out there it’s overwhelming. I aim to give you clear, practical insights in bite-sized pieces.
You’ll get two posts a week, including:
Psychological and somatic know-how and tools you can use right away.
Templates, audios, and prompts to support your growth.
Occasional reflections on life and creativity as this space evolves.
Welcome
Have a look around. Ask me anything. I’d love to hear from you.
